Description: This popular Western Australian cruiser/racer is the youngest in its class and one of only three built with vinylester resin. Built by Stamist C180 in Bunbury, the original designers and builders of many S97's. She was fitted out by the owner, a very talented and meticulous shipwright, and features ultra light weight but ultra strong construction techniques making for a fast, easily sailed and low maintenance boat.
"Next Phase" is well equipped for cruising with refrigeration, hot & cold water, holding tank, gas BBQ, autopilot, and anchor windlass with remote. The headsails, including a Code 0 are furling. For added speed if you wish to do some racing or just get there quickly, as well as the Code 0 there is a mast head asymmetrical spinnaker on a top down furler.
Equipment is of high quality and she is maintained to a high standard by the owner, a qualified shipwright. What does he like most about his boat? The versatility. Whether cruising, racing, entertaining, or even fishing, it works and works well. 40 days on the boat up and back from the Abrolohos Islands and with her being set up for short handed sailing made for very simple and comfortable cruising experience.
