Valkyr has been at Fremantle Sailing Club since launch and has provided 5 owners and their families with vast amounts of pleasure. The S & S 36 are renowned for their sea kindly nature and are very easy to sail. Whether sailing in a Club race or coastal cruising she is equally comfortable. The aft cabin is large for a boat of this size, the upholstery is in good condition and the hull has been completely refurbished. The current owner has enjoyed great success in inshore racing with the occasional trip to Rottnest and further afield. Valkyr is quite capable of offshore cruising as these boats have made significant sailing passages. With good sails, new rigging, a comfortable interior and a reliable engine she is ready for her next owner. The hull and keel was faired and re antifouled in April, 2023.
