This Farr B30 trailer sailor is in excellent condition. This boat features a unique bulb keel for maximum stability giving it great windward performance without sacrificing trailerability.
The owners purchased the yacht in 2018 in Adelaide and after building a new trailer in WA, towed it home. The trailer is rated for 3.5 tonne, is equipped with an electric over hydraulic ALCO brake controller and is dual axle with landcruiser light truck tyres. On their arrival back in Perth, the owners spent 6 months on a complete refit. The refurbishment was extensive and includes:
o All Rigging replaced 2018
o All ropes replaced 2020 / 2021
o Deck blocks replaced 2018
o Spare anchor / chain / rope in FWD cabin
o All upholstery replaced
o All wiring replaced with marine grade wiring
o All skin fittings replaced with new ball valves
o All pipework inside the vessel replaced

o New propeller fitted and shaft balanced
o Hull sanded down to remove anti foul and 2 coats of "Blue" flow coat applied

o Trailer recoated, bearings repacked and brake lines relaced 2022
o All trailer rollers stripped down and SS pins added
o Trailer light LED replaced 2022
o 4500lb Electric Remote boat winch fitted 2022
o Mast lighting cabling relaced in boat 2022
o 1 x Deep cycle battery replaced 2022
o Mast overhauled and repainted 2022
o 1 x main sheet inspected by Fremantle Sails and now loose footed
o 1 x Furling Genoa striped down and new SS bearing installed

o 6 deck winches stripped and new pawls/ springs fitted
o All safety gear fitted EPIRB (registered), Flares and 2 fire extinguishers
o 6 x life jackets in FWD cabin
o 12 volt TV on wall with build in CD player
o VHF & 27 MHz radios' fitted
o Fresh water tanks sterilised in chlorine solution. Tanks are 100 litres per side
o Webber BBQ on deck rails
Talisker is currently stored on the trailer at a facility in Cockburn Sound at a very reasonable cost. Berthing in a marina is also possible with the trailer either stored or sold (it is very marketable)
