Description: Now reduced from $30K to $20K, the Etchells is a big, fast, simple, stable, and sleek racing sloop that can be sailed competitively and in comfort by three or four average sailors. It's trailerable, easy to maintain and light enough to dry sail, and Etchells hold exceptional resale value. First designed as an Olympic class boat they out performed the opposition but never made it to the Olympics. Despite this, they gained great popularity and hold an important place in Australian sailing and can be found in sailing clubs worldwide. Although Honey Badger no longer complies with the class rules she is still very competitive and sails extremely well but now with a greater emphasis on amenity and style than on competitive performance.
Honey Badger is ideal for club racing and cruising. She features a new laid cork deck, redesigned cockpit with cruising seats, new interior paint and a stunning, rich burgundy paint job. There is a new full boat cover, the spars have been recently refurbished and painted, all deck fittings reconditioned/replaced and the full set of sails are in excellent condition.
She comes with a customised jinker which has lockers for sails and gear.
Honey Badger is without doubt the best looking Etchells in Australia and has performance to match.
